Locals and visitors can enjoy four unique, guided walking tours with actors and actresses portraying historic Cleveland figures. Historic figures you may encounter on your hike include Frances Payne Bolton, Mayor Tom Johnson, Daniel Burnham, Mrs. Alfred Kelley, Garrett Morgan, Alan Freed and John D. Rockefeller
On Saturdays, Historic Warehouse District tours begin at 10 a.m. at Constantino’s Market (1278 W. Ninth St.). On Sundays, Canal Basin Park tours begin at 10 at the Settler’s Landing RTA Station (1025 W. Superior Ave., bottom of the hill).

No need to fly the flying saucer over to Cleveland Metroparks “Summer Beach Party” – just come to the beach for all the fun and excitement.
Cleveland Metroparks invites all “beach bums” from 5 to 8 p.m. to enjoy a variety of beach games and activities including: a UFO sighting scavenger hunt, shake-n-bake contest, flying saucer water balloon toss, Reese’s Pieces relay race, hula hoop contest, beach blanket bingo, limbo, “Ranger” says, cornhole, beach volleyball, and more.
Day-of registration is required to participate in all games, and space is limited. Prizes will be awarded.

July 16, 17, 18. The Party in the Park is not just for the music lover. During the 3 day event there is a wide array of things to do for adults and children of all ages. The Community Stage features many different activities, demonstrations, music and many other things for the whole family to enjoy. Also, in the Community Stage area is the PPITP "Kidzone" with large inflatables for the kids to enjoy. 1 - Music in the Valley with folk musicians. July 10-11 from 10am to 5pm. Admission is $10 for adults/seniorsand $5 for children age 3-12. Members of the Western Reserve Historical Society and children 2 & under are free.
2 - Hale Hearty Dinner Fiddles and Vittles. July 10 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Fiddles & Vittles is part of a new food program that blends history, theater, and authentic 19th century fare with local foods for a unique, entertaining dining experience. $15 per person.
3 - Hale Ghost Tour. July 10 Presentation at 8:00 pm Walking Tour begins at 9:00 pm. This is a hauntingly historical Hale Farm & Village walking tour and presentation led by Western Reserve Paranormal with tips on how to be a ghost hunter and to see real collected evidence. The tour visits Ira Road Cemetery and Hale Farm & Village with an option to continue on a late night walk to Indigo Lake. Admission is $10. Not recommended for children. (I'd say older kids would love this, not so much the younger ones, they're not up at 9pm anyway!

77. Veterans Memorial Bridge Tour
Saturday, July 3, 2010 This tour is only held ONCE A YEAR! Stroll through the old streetcar tracks under the bridge. Self guided tours begin at 9 and end at 3, volunteers on hand to answer questions. This event is FREE and open to all ages - strollers welcome (I would recommend tennis shoes not flip-flops, the area has been unused for over 50 years!) Bring your camera as you'll be 100 feet above the Cuyahoga with amazing views of the city.
The main entrance is located at the northeast corner of the W. 25th Street and Detroit Avenue intersection at the Cuyahoga County Engineer’s Bridge Garage, 2433 Superior Viaduct (west end of the bridge). Free parking is available in the County Engineer’s lots located at this address.
