Holiday Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Kickoff on closed Detroit Avenue.  Enjoy the holiday parade, followed by music, trolley rides, ice carver, jugglers, holiday characters, Santa, Kids crafts, Twigby-Style Kids Shop, Gingerbread House Tour and other activities.  5:30-8 p.m.  Cost:  FREE. 192. Woollybear Festival & Parade

The events kick off at 9:00 a.m. with the YMCA Annual World's Greatest Kids' Race. Click here for more information on the race.

At 10:00 a.m. the Woollybear 500 Caterpillar Race preliminaries with Fox 8's Big Chuck and Lil' John take place on the main stage.

At 11:00 a.m. judging for the Woollybear King & Queen Costume Contest and the Woollybear Animal / Pet Costume Contest begins on the main stage.

From noon until 1:00 p.m. festival goers will be treated to a concert performed by the Singing Angels and at 1:30 p.m. the Wonderful, Wacky Woollybear Parade steps off.

190. Kidzibits Family Education Center

The Kidzibits Family Education Center at Western Reserve Historical Society inspires our young visitors, from pre-school through age 9, to explore and experience history.

Kidzibits Family Education Center is open during regular WRHS History Center hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

BEGINNING August 7, 2011, the WRHS History Center will be open on Sundays, from Noon to 5:00 pm!
Admission: $8.50 for adults; $5.00 for youth age 17 and under; FREE for age 2 and under and WRHS members.
